As dusk approaches, Shaker Village will be illuminated by the twinkling of thousands of lights. Celebrate the simple gifts of the season with holiday classics, evening candlelight tours, and a visit from a very special guest.

Shaker Village Illuminated Evenings
Time: 4 PM – 8:30 PM
Cost: $5 Ages 13 and Above, Free 12 and Under. Please bring a canned good donation. Groups over 20, call 800.734.5611 x1545 for pricing.
Dining, overnight and daytime touring guests receive free evening admission!
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
In the event of inclement weather, outdoor activities may be postponed or cancelled. This includes the Jingle Bell Shuttle and the Lighting of the Tree and Storytelling with Mrs. Claus. All indoor activities and music will take place as scheduled.
A Shaker Christmas by Candlelight – Guided Tours of Centre Family Dwelling - 4 PM, 4:30 PM, 5 PM, 5:30 PM, 6 PM
Take a lantern-lit tour of the Centre Family Dwelling as Shaker Christmas customs of donating to the needy, singing, cooking and decorating the tree are brought to life. Guided tours only. Centre Family Dwelling will not be open for self-guided tours.
Mrs. Claus' Workshop - 4 PM – 6 PM
Visit Mrs. Claus' Workshop and make ornaments to decorate our tree or to take home for your own!
Jingle Bell Shuttle - 4 PM – 7 PM
Stroll the lantern-lit turnpike adorned with fresh holiday swags, or catch a ride on a horse-drawn wagon as it jingles all the way.
Lighting of the Tree & Storytelling with Mrs. Claus - 7 PM – 7:30 PM
Gather around the fire and help Mrs. Claus light our 31' Norway Spruce. Afterwards, listen as she shares tales from the North Pole. Mrs. Claus will be available for photos after storytelling (please bring your own camera).
The Shops Open House & Sale - EXTENDED HOURS - Open Until 8:30 PM
Visit the Shops for one-of-a-kind gifts and receive 10% off all regularly-priced merchandise.
Evening Fare at the Trustees' Office Dining Room

Enjoy a warm, candlelight dinner at the Trustees' Office.
