Relax as your canoe slips away from Shaker Landing and drifts quietly across the cool water of the Kentucky River. See unique views of the palisades along the river, or go deep into the Dix River, a trophy trout stream stocked by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Please bring your own canoe or kayak. Shaker Village does not provide paddling equipment. Canoes and kayaks are welcome to launch into the Kentucky River from Shaker Landing from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
