Examine frontier life at Old Fort Harrod State Park, the first permanent English settlement west of the Allegheny Mountains. A full-scale replica of the fort, built by James Harrod in 1774, is the centerpiece of the park.

For a taste of Kentucky tradition, visit The Woodford Reserve Distillery, makers of fine Kentucky bourbons. This National Historic Landmark offers guided tours showcasing the bourbon-making process as well as the history of bourbon, and its influence on the state's heritage.

Visit with Kentucky's most notable four-legged friends at The Kentucky Horse Park, home of the 2010 World Equestrian Games. The equine-themed park features the International Museum of the Horse and nearly 50 breeds of horses.

Experience one of Thoroughbred racing's finest traditions at Keeneland Race Course. Enjoy the fanfare as you witness magnificent Thoroughbreds race in April and October. The course is also available for touring throughout the year.
